Wreaths Across America
Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that was started to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
The organization now coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies each December at more than 2,500 locations in all fifty states as well as overseas. It is the mission of Wreaths Across America to “remember, honor and teach”. Efforts are made throughout the year to honor the sacrifices of fallen service members from the Revolutionary War to the present day.
Thousands of individuals, schools, civic and other volunteers all work together in locations across the nation to ensure that a wreath is placed on each hero’s grave.
